Harlow family papers, 1737-1920, bulk: 1800-1893.

Papers of civil engineer Noah R. Harlow and his family, of Cambridge, Mass. Included are plans and instructions for the construction of the Nashua and Lowell Railroad, correspondence concerning Harlow's attempts to find work, and several lawsuits in which he and his father Joshua Harlow were involved. Correspondents include Uriah A. Boyden, James Hayward, Joshua Harlow, and Josiah Hunt. Also, deeds to land in Cambridge and Royalston, Mass. Bound vols. include records of the Cambridge Franklin Debating Society and the Cambridgeport Debating Society, estate accounts and inventory of Asaph Harlow, and extracts of deeds to and from Josiah Mason of Cambridge.
